I sing in a choir https://www.clicknoimovel.com/pharmacy/index.php/stmap_74195nd.html purchase cymbalta online I can’t help always thinking of Larry Summers as the guy who hypothesized that the reason for the dearth of female science professors was due to a lower average acumen among women. Forget the fact that medical doctors and lawyers get paid more than professors of physics or chemistry or biology. Forget the fact that these high paying professions are seeing a huge influx of women. Forget the fact that to become a professor, you will be spending 5-7 years in graduate school, followed by another 3-4 years as a postdoc making nothing, and after that, as an assistant professor, making only ~65-70K/year and working 80 hours/week. As a radiologist, you’ll be making 200 K/year after the same amount of time. According to this “economist”, the reason why women are becoming MD’s and JD’s rather than PhD’s is due to their lower acumen. He didn’t even consider the possibility that pay might be a factor. Let’s not consider the offensive nature of his comments. This utter lack of common sense on his part should be enough for us to worry about his judgement as an economist.
