A critically acclaimed, adventurous American jazz musician, born Anthony Joseph Sciacca in 1921 in New Jersey. Recorded in Japan in 1964 with Shinichi Yuize (koto) and Hozan Yamamoto (shakuhachi). Often described the first ever "new age" recording. Late 1970's/early 1980's reissue (The Original Verve Masters Series) of Verve 2332 052 (Germany 1972), released originally as Verve V6-8634 (USA 1965). His 13th or so 12" album.
