An important musician in the history of free jazz, born in Bermuda and raised in New York. Credited to Alan Silva and His Celestrial Communication Orchestra featuring e.g. Archie Shepp, Anthony Braxton, Dave Burrell, Leroy Jenkins and Bob Guerin - although double-bass is Alan Silva's main instrument, he now plays violin only. Recorded August 17th 1969 in Paris. Sought after original French copy issued in the BYG Actuel Series (number 12). His 1st "solo" album, I should think.
