 | Tukak' teatret (theatre) was founded in 1975 in Denmark by a group of young Inuit and a Norwegian actor. "The main objective of the theatre is developement individually, where each single person is faced with investigations within themselves and their own history. This process forms the fundamentals out of which the work is concieved. Therefore the performances are naturally based upon and around each actor's present life and history. Thus by gaining force from an understanding of their own heritage, they may if possible, be able to inspire the future..."
