| The Kantele is an ancient string instrument, also the national instrument of the Finnish tribes living along the Baltic coast line. A total of 19 tracks, mainly traditional Finnish folk songs. However, some of them are composed or arranged by well-known classical composers Erkki Melartin, Oskar Merikanto, Ilmari Krohn and Toivo Kuula. All songs are played by Tellervo Haikonen alone.
