Critically acclaimed, adventurous jazz musician, born Anthony Sciassa in 1921 in New Jersey. Recorded in Japan in 1964 with Shinichi Yuize (koto) and Hozan Yamamoto (shakuhachi). Often described the first ever "new age" recording. Early 1970's German issue of Verve V6-8634 (USA 1965). His 13th or so 12" album.
