A renowned American swing and rhythm & blues alto saxophonist, born in 1909 in Kinston, North Carolina. The album is credited to Earl Bostic & Tab Smith - side A being dedicated to Bostic, side B to Smith (seven tracks each). The Smith recordings date back to 1960. A rare German compilation of previously released King material, could easily be filed under rhythm & blues, or even rock'n'roll, as well. Enhanced for stereo.
