 | A popular English beat / pop band, formed in 1963 in Manchester as Herman & The Hermits. Sountrack album to the 1966 MGM film "Hold On!", written by James B. Gordon, directed by Arthur Lubin and produced by Sam Katzman. A total of 10 songs, including e.g. "Hold On!", "Leaning on the Lamp Post" and "A Must to Avoid". Released in the UK only as a 6-track EP, Columbia SEG 8503 (England 1966). Their 6th US album, released in March 1966. Mono.
