 | A highly popular pop from Barbados, mixing styles from calypso and Latin to folk and worldwide hits, active from the early 1960s. Credited to The Merrymen (the back cover reads Merrimen) featuring Emile Straker, their lead singer and a whistling master. A total of 14 tracks, including e.g. "La Bamba", "Yesterday" and "Where Have All the Flowers Gone". Stereo issue of their 4th or so album, released on band's own record label.
