| A legendary American rock and roll / rockabilly singer, guitarist and songwriter, nicknamed "King of Rockabilly", born in 1932 in Tiptonville, Tennessee. A later effort, called in the front cover "Carl Perkin's Tribute to Rock and Roll", with a total of 12 rock'n'roll classics, such as: "Rock Around the Clock", "That's All Right", "Tutti Frutti", "Blue Suede Shoes", "Be Bop a Lula", "Mabellene", "Whole Lotta Shakin'-Goin'-On" and "Shake Rattle & Roll".
