 | No doubt the most influential instrumental rock band of all time, formed in 1958 as a backing band for Cliff Richard. Originally they were called The Drifters but became The Shadows in early 1959, featuring Hank Marvin as their new lead guitarist. And that's where the story begins... Hank Marvin, Bruce Welsh, Brian Bennett, Cliff Hall and Mark Griffiths playing 20 brand new recordings of hits like "Apache", "Man of Mystery", "Shindig", "Wonderful Land", "The Theme from the Deerhunter", "F.B.I", "Atlantis", "Don't Cry for Me Argentina" and "Kon-Tiki". Most likely Dutch CD-issue of Polydor 841 520 (England 1989).
