 | Originally an excellent American jazzy / progressive brass-rock band, becoming soon a highly succesful AOR / pop-rock outfit. Formed originally in 1967 in Chicago as The Big Thing, moved in 1968 to Los Angeles and soon changed their name to Chicago Transit Authority, shortened to Chicago after the eponymous debut album in 1969. Australian issue of Columbia JC 34860 (USA 1977). Their 11th album, the last one with Terry Kath on guitar.
