 | Originally an excellent American jazzy / progressive brass-rock band, becoming soon a highly succesful AOR / pop-rock outfit. Formed originally in 1967 in Chicago as The Big Thing, moved in 1968 to Los Angeles and soon changed their name to Chicago Transit Authority, shortened to Chicago after the eponymous debut album in 1969. A compilation of previously released early material. Dutch 1980's reissue in the CBS's "Nice Price" budget series. Released originally as Columbia PC 33900 (USA 1975).
