| A renowned Scottish singer-songwriter, born in 1942 in Edinburgh, best known for his work in The Incredible String Band. A strange mixture of folk and rock with strong ethnic and psychedelic overtones. With e.g. Dudu Pukwana, Simon Nicol, Dave Pegg, Richard Thompson, Dave Mattacks, John Cale, Gerry Conway, Liza Strike, Heather Wood, Dr. Strangely Strange, Pete Townshend, Keith Moon, Ronnie Lane, Pat Donaldson and Tony Cox. Produced by Joe Boyd. US issue of Island ILPS 9146 (England 1971). His 1st solo album.
