 | An important / influential American folk, country and bluegrass composer and musician, born in 1937 in New York City, New York, but spent his childhood in St. Louis, Missouri. With e.g. David Briggs (keyboards), Sam Bush (mandolin, vocals), Buddy Emmons (steel guitar), Roy Huskey Jr. (bass), Benny Martin (violin), Hargus 'Pig' Robbins (piano) and Curly Seckler (vocals). Spanish Guimbarda's 'Estados Unidos' series issue of Flying Fish 044 (USA 1977). His 12th or so solo album.
