Other information & picture:
One of the most innovative and influential figures on the British blues scene in the sixties. Born in 1933 in Macclesfield, a small village near Manchester, moved to Laurel Canyon, Los Angeles in the early seventies. Credited to John Mayall, featuring Jon Mark, Steve Thompson and Johnny Almond. A brave attempt to play semi-acoustic, low volume blues without heavy lead guitar and drums. A total of seven tracks, including e.g. "The Laws Must Change" and "Room to Move". Recorded live at the Fillmore East Theater, New York July 12th, 1969. US issue of Polydor 583 571 (England 1969). His 10th album.
