 | One of the most innovative and influential figures on the British blues scene in the sixties. Born in 1933 in Macclesfield, a small village near Manchester, moved to Laurel Canyon, Los Angeles in the early seventies. Credited to John Mayall, featuring Don "Sugarcane" Harris (violin), Harvey Mandel (guitar) and Larry Taylor (bass). A brave attempt to play semi-acoustic, low volume blues without heavy lead guitar and drums. Late 1970s / early 1980s Canadian reissue of Polydor 2425 020 (England 1970). His 12th album.
