 | One of the most innovative and influential figure on the British blues scene in the sixties, moved to Los Angeles in 1968. Credited to John Mayall alone, featuring Jerry McGee (guitar, dobro, sitar) and Larry Taylor (bass). A brave attempt to play semi-acoustic, low volume blues without heavy lead guitar and drums. A highly autobiographical piece of work with songs like "Memories", "Wish I Knew a Woman", "Home in a Tree", "Grandad" and "Back from Korea". US issue of Polydor 2425 085 (England 1970). His 14th or so album.
