 | No doubt the most important figure in the early history of jazz, born in New Orleans in 1901. A compilation of 16 previously released recordings from 1930 and 1931, featuring e.g. "Body and Soul", "Memories of You", "Just a Gigolo", "Shine", "Walkin' My Baby Back Home", "I Surrender Dear", "Blue Again" and "When Your Lover Has Gone". With Les Hite's (side A) and Zilner Randolph's (side B) orchestras. French mono issue.
