Other information & picture:
An American traditional jazz clarinetist, born in 1895 in a plantation in Cut Off, Lousiana, played with e.g. Kid Ory and King Oliver. As Jimmie Noone's Apex Club Orchestra (>' house band' for the Apex Club in Chicago). A total of 12 tracks recorded in 1928 - 1930, Earl Hines plays piano in five of them. A bit later issue, from 1968 - 1970, I should think.
