 | Most likely the best-known French female singer of all time, born Edith Giovanna Gassion in 1915 in Belleville, Paris. A total of 14 songs, including e.g. "Je m'imagine", "Dans leur baiser", "T'es beau tu sais", "Faut pas qu'il se figure", "Les amants de Teruel" and "Quatorze Juillet". German stereo issue from the mid 1960's, I should think.
