 | A singer-songwriter of a cult fame, born in 1938 in Lyon, France, emigrated to Montreal, Canada in the mid 1960s. Not really pop, Not really rock... just singer-songwriter stuff (lyrics mainly in French) with a strong social /political angle*), with e.g. Richard Seguin and Gilles Valiquette. US (or Canadian) issue of his 5th album.
*) "Why pessimistic?... Because all the fools and the bastards who rule this world, its laws, its economy, its arts and institutions are striving to make us believe that everything is for the best in the best possible worlds... Hell! It's about time - if not already too late - to scream it' not true!..."
