| A well-known British artist, born Clive Powell in 1943 in Leigh, Lancashire. Originally a great rhythm & blues singer who more or less changed his imago and moved into more commercial pop. Early 1970s Polish stereo issue of "Georgie Fame Does His Thing with Strings", CBS S 63650 (England 1970). His 3rd CBS album.
