| A highly acclaimed American vibraphone player, born in 1943 in Anderson, Indiana, known for developing the technique of playing the instrument with four mallets. Gary Burton's part of the "Works" series, released on the occasion of ECM's 15th anniversary, presenting recordings of ten musicians who have been working with ECM from the beginning.
