 | A renowned Amrican jazz saxophonist, clarinetist, arranger and composer, born in 1932 St. Louis, Missouri. As the Oliver Nelson Sextet with Paul Chambers, Eric Dolphy, Bill Evans, Roy Haynes and Freddie Hubbard. 1976 UK stereo reissue of Impulse AS-5 (USA 1961). His 8th or so album as leader, released in August 1961.
