| A renowned French cellist, born in 1906 in Paris, known his lifetime as 'the aristocrat of cellists', performing here Schumann's "Concerto in A minor, Op. 129" and Tchaikovsky's "Variations on a Rococo Theme, Op. 33" with the Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by Sir Malcolm Sargent.
