 | A legendary 9-piece band from Belarus, formed in 1967 or 1968 as Liavony, changed their name to Pesniary in 1969. A highly orginal mixture of folk, pop, psychedelia and even some prog. This album consists mostly of Byelorussian folk songs. Great singing and some occasional fuzz guitar and hard-driving organ breaks (especially on a song called "Rose Blossom"). Their 2nd album, housed in the rare export cover.
