Other information & picture:
A legendary Finnish underground folk-pop-rock band, formed in 1970 by Seppo 'Paroni' Paakkunainen, Edward Vesala, Ilpo 'Ilja' Saastamoinen and Pekka Sarmanto using funny pseudonyms. However, at this stage only Paakkunainen is left from the original lineup, now with Matti Kontio, Esa Kotilainen and Eerik Siikasaari. Mainly newly arranged traditional Finnish folk song, the melodies being played with a flute made of birch bark. Credited to Seppo Paakkunainen & Karelia.
